HIKES NOTES/ADVISORIES

*** Alltrails maps are to be used for route finding purposes only.  The elevation gains on the maps are very often much more than those found in more reliable sources.  The gains posted on club descriptions should be a better indication of the real gain. ***

First bus drop off will be at Takkakaw Falls for hikes 1 & 2 then the bus will go to Emerald Lake where it will stay for the day.  All pick ups will be at Emerald Lake

Hikes 1 and 2 are the same route but different speeds.  Bring some dry shoes with you – who knows how many streams you will have to splash through in the alluvial fan before you get to Emerald Lake!

Hike 3 and 4 are in the same area but the groups may decide to do different versions.  Please read the trail description to decide

Hike 5 could include a jaunt up to Hamilton Falls.  We only ever see it in the winter!
